Jordan & Jordan is seeking a motivated individual to join our development team as a Sr. Developer/ Project Manager focused on the design, development, modification, and implementation of solutions for information technology needs through new applications and applications infrastructure. Previous experience working on financial systems related to compliance, regulatory reporting, trade surveillance or smart order routing preferred.

  • Participate in all aspects of software development lifecycle from detailed programming to high level system design.
  • Contributes to IT systems strategy, development, and integration services for clients.
  • Evaluates system requirements and business processes, codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
  • Modifies new and existing software products to add new functions, improve performance or enhance product usability.
  • Proactively recognizing system deficiencies and recommending solutions.
  • 5-8 years software development experience – at least 2 years working in a professional environment as a C#/.NET developer.
  • Prior experience working with order routing systems and trading systems preferred.
  • Experience using development process tools such as Git, Bitbucket and Jira required.
  • Experience big data technologies like Hadoop and caching databases such as Redis a plus.
  • Experience writing and modifying web applications using JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React or Node.js, and general proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Prior experience in architecture decisions is a plus.
    Well versed in relational databases, both designing and querying.
